My Frog Princes: Me & Love Triangles

When I was in Form One, there was this one cute classmate (the way I saw him). He was very much into martial art (I joined an ass-kicking group & managed to get a red belt (aside from being the best female pesilat heheh!) much later- I digress). I was very fond of him & found out that one of my best friends did too (the tomboy one who surprisingly is married with 2 kids by now). Nobody knew about me being his secret admirer (boarding school was famous with this SA business completed with song dedications over the PA system, foods dedications (sold by club/society-of-this-and-that at nite or weekend when we couldn’t go out) like ayam percik, roti canai, burger & banjo – it’s difficult to get those foods as we’re not allowed to ‘keluar pekan’ every week much more every day- I did get few dedications from my pet sisters (K.what-huh? & Yong & also my SA – got too!) Eh, I remember now – it’s k.Nani - yeay!).
He left the school after Form Three & I still think of him for a couple of year after that especially when I hear the song (programme Pilihan Bersama Radio Muzik esp. after SPM) – It must’ve been love…but it’s over now (Roxette) –that was from the original soundtrack of Pretty Woman, my all-time favourite movie; first shown as an after-SRP treat at the computer lab + all girls audience (thanks to Haserq). I even bought the OST cassette/tape back when I was in UK (for the first time ever & it wasn’t cheap either, second tape is the Dilwalee Dulhania Le Jayenge @ Ilford Lane– current Hindi hit all over the world at that time).
I remember an occasion where I sat at the front of class near the fan switch – purposely turn up the speed so that he’ll have to speak to me in order to turn it down since he’s quite thin & sitting right under the fan – me being silly-silly of course! He was the first guy that I can think of romantically…whatever that mean.
At the same time, there was this guy in the classroom next door. I think he told his friend about liking me & thus started the usik-mengusik whenever I passed by the room & he was not being shy about it! I remember – he gave me buang tahi ayam once (among other things)! That was after it was used in Science class lab session. He was kinda funny/joker guy - & I was this nerd (completed with big round glasses, kampong girl, problem with pronouncing my S (saya suka makan sambal sotong thingie), kaki bangku, cannot speak English yet. I guess I don’t know how to respond yet..mak suruh pergi sekolah untuk belajar tau!
In my second uni-year, it happened again. I was admiring this one senior while another senior was sending me regards (salam) *Hint2x* & me being me…Opportunities gone!

P/s: Why am I doing this? To trigger back my memory of old days & to keep those away for safekeeping & perhaps learn something along the way.I was just reading this book on frog (=slimey!) & my current wallpaper is also frog – edible ones from Germany! So the title is appropriate I guess..more about the book later once I'm done with it!
