Allright...I might look shorter than my two new friends there but it was due to the fact that they're standing behind me on a slightly higher slope - heheheh. Anyway, what I lack in terms of one dimension is more than adequately covered by another dimension (weight!)...

We went to the nearest section of the Great Wall - a town named Badaling, about an hour plus ride. Of course there's a cable-car ride to the top but we 'consciously' choosed to walk & climb as far as we could...we made it to the second highest tower on the right hand side of the entrance.

anyway, the 'fact' about seeing the wall from space is not true - see wikipedia. lots of facts there, but picture-wise, not as interesting.
