I’m usually shy from telling (reminding more like it) people about my birthday. But this year, I want things to be different. Initially thought of putting a notice on my YM board but I chickened out at the last minute! (There are some ppl better not in the know I guess)
So, I’ll just share it with you – my blog- and my family members, colleagues, friends, blahblah..
This is my answer to the ‘original question’ by one of my nieces,
“Today, I’m proud (and thankful to Allah) to say that I’ve lived (betoi ka grammar nih?) for 31 years! Ikut umur Nabi, (kalau dipanjangkan umur la), baki usia yang ada cuma 32 tahun je lagi…” (Pssst! Simah...kita serupa no...tapi tak sama)
Last weekend, while catching up with some of my family members (mak, one bro, one sis), I’m quite surprised to find out that I was born, according to my sis’s words (trust her, she was there to witness the big moment - kat rumah la), ‘dalam sarung’ such that mak bidan has to belah untuk keluarkan moi. Mak looked really blur to me, must be because she couldn’t remember a thing due to the pain of giving birth, after all there’s nothing new in it since she had already give birth 10x to 11 children (yeah, do your math quickly – how come we end up as 9 siblings? Haha!)
This is my wish list;
(I know exactly what I want #1)
(I know exactly what I want #2)
(I know exactly what I want #3)
(I know exactly what I want #4)
(I know exactly what I want #5)
(I know exactly what I want #6)
(I know exactly what I want #7)
(I know exactly what I want #8)
(Udah2 le tu…) Ya Allah, kabulkanlah permintaan ku. Amen.
I’m old, so not much on celebration. Not like another one of my nieces. Last 2 weeks, she cried coz nobody remember to buy her presents in the panic of her abah getting operated due appendicitis, her younger bro ‘buat perangai’ after being circumcised in a grand ceremony completed with kompang, bunga telur, and the fire brigade to shower them! According to words of the mother, “perangai (the boy) nya sungguh menjengkelkan!” Heheheheh…baru bersunat tapi boleh nyanyi2, ‘Pencinta Wanita’!
