If I were to put up picture of me and ct (just non-random sample, not actually to show any preference or whatever) side-by-side, what would you think? And why would I do that?
Either I want you to know how far apart we are in terms of appearance or there is my deep, deep conviction inside of me that I’m her equal (if not more) in terms of beauty, gracefulness, taste in fashion and not to mention singing ability. Not.
So, it troubles my small mind (yes, this is a petty issue really in the grand scheme of things to come) till these days of what I saw advertised in the Star on Sunday. Just because you put your face alongside the sheikh, does it means that you’re as soleh as him? The sheikh was being conferred the honorary doctorate by the chancellor of a new varsity. So, it’s appropriate la to have both pix of them as advertised. But people always say, three is a crowd (never been done before in the same context) and it annoys me when you try to deceive people using such a cheap trick! Glamer murah dek non oi…
By (simple) association I mean: let’s say my mak saw the eyesore pix (more than a page – what a waste!). She’ll think, "Here is the scholar, much more a sheikhul al- from one of the oldest varsity in the world. Oh, right beside him is our Ketua Ha*hari." Wah, depa kamceng lor! At par. People of the same cloth. So, undilah atas nama Islam! (Where is the link? You might ask…)
