Headhunter or headhunted?

I’ve been busy yesterday (subnormal day weh..). Started the day very early & been meeting many people (lebih drp 2 org ok) especially in the evening. First, there were these two sisters who came to look for room for rent. The elder sister is sitting for her final year exam while the younger one (only 21! They’re getting younger each day now…) is sitting for the second year exam – she’s the one who’ll be renting the room since her industrial placement is just nearby (a stone throw away, as in, right in front of the house). Me being over-friendly me – we got to talk like for almost an hour. From everything about the place to my jodoh (trust me – I don’t know how we ended up with that topic! Maybe it started with, “Kak x kawin lagi?” *lookingverysurprise*) and what is she (the cheeky elder one) going to do after the exam. She’s looking forward to work in any auditing firm – I said, “Eh, kak ada kawan kerja Acc Exec di …” I know this since I did asked around for a suitable position for my neighbour’s daughter – an accounting graduate but alas..(don’t go there- long story)

At the same time, a msg came in asking me about any data entry job available – this particular friend is looking for a part-time job to supplement her income. No surprise there lah, even my prof also contacted me when he’s looking for candidates on behalf of his friend in epf, my ex-boss in previous college when she’s looking for lecturers and friends wanting to employ to tuition teachers as well as college lecturers in N*lai. It may looks like I know everyone. *sigh*

By then, my second visitor arrived, with my pre-ordered dinner. She’s working in a research company & currently looking to recruit many interviewers & such for survey projects (am supposed to pass the words around too). We got to talk about her work, as in her job descriptions & specifications (me being the unofficial consultant who honestly has no idea what her job actually entails) relating to (maybe) promotion. It aint easy…

Next, another friend dropped by (eventually she joined us for dinner) with the whole intention of passing me a business card with the message: Call the no, really want to talk. Wah-wah….

So, now I’m thinking back to that ship-jumping thing. Should I or should I not? Remember, I don’t go around looking for jobs since I’m bonded- lock, stock & barrel. And I don’t ask friends to promote me either (but I’m flattered really, thank you very much). But to be approached for the second time by the same institution through different middleperson & contact person, is this a sign? Hmmm…..
It’s good to know though that I’m wanted/needed, again, at times when all I feel is like throwing away (physical) things. *lowmorale&sakitjiwadgndataanalisis*
However, I do realise that no T no talk lor…And maybe it’s about time also for me to hang out my shingle – Agensi Cari Pekerjaan rad.

Another sign of P*D Evolution (like Darw*n theory of Evolution)
Am talking about from Evi*ws 3 to Evi*ws 4, then 5.1 and now Evi*ws 6 (latest installation). Previously Limd*p 6 to now Limd*p 9. From S*S’s had-to-manually-write-the-commands/programming to SAS E-Guid*’s current simply-click menus. St*ta…M*crofit…to name but a few.
Don’t you think that I’m tired already?

Three Stooges’ project update
Two of them had been receiving msgs & calls (at 2am in the morning??) from unknown numbers respectively. I’ve known this since both of them check each other’s number with me (just to be sure). Hmm…something to ponder..

Exschoolfriend tracer
I really, really need to find & put up my old school-pix in fri*nster. Tak kenal lagi kah? Rupa sudah berubah amat? With spec and all?
And a friend gave me my ex-SA’s phone no –whatever for ya?

Pesanan daripada penaja:

Berilah sepenuh perhatian kepada kesihatan ibubapa anda
My other friend’s FIL is currently in ICU – pancreas cancer, critical stage- haemorrhaging. The point that she’s making is that it could have been prevented. You see, that ‘plate’ thingie inside was supposed to be replaced after 3-months as of last year….When the FIL was on & off having fever, x lalu makan etc –all the adult kids just asked in passing je, “Bapak pergilah check hospital…”

To make things complicated, the FIL is taking care of the bed-ridden MIL. He knew that if he goes for checkup, he’ll be hospitalised thus he avoided it (x nak menyusahkan anak2). Now, the MIL…

Let’s pray that the FIL will get better insyaAllah & the MIL too. Amen.
