When a guy said…
To ask you to contact him first (in an effort to match-make by two kind souls) coz he’s so shy – DON’T BOTHER!!
In a kind way (according to his twisted mind), he’s telling you he’s..
..not available
..not interested
..not anything or whatsoever!!
What a lady should have said…
F**k yourself dude!! (pardon my French here)
You can always say NO in the first place!!
**You people make me think twice about venturing out there (one step forward, two steps backward). Ensem as what ensem does huh..

Short Lesson 109: (for ladies only)
Don’t ever go to a wedding reception wearing casuals – you’re totally out of place. Not to mentioned rude coz ‘tak menghormati majlis orang’.
The dress code is formal, easier said if you just wear baju kurung or kebaya.
Too bad if you are:
..too lazy to iron another set of attire.
..or fed-up of wearing kurungs everyday to the office.
..or intend to go on an intensive retail therapy afterward at the local’s hang-out/mall.
Don’t be too ‘lurus bendul’
Scenario – You and friend went to a friend’s wedding reception held in the normal way – fancy tents in front of the terrace house, the whole neighbourhood & relatives helping in the preparations blah blah. Each of you carried a present for the couple. Out of the blue, there was this group of guys, one of them who said – Hadiah tu letak sini kak…
Me being lurus bendul – started to head to them when it dawn on me that they’re joking!! Ceh!!! They’re the penanggah laa…
Malunya, tu la padah tak mau pergi majlis & bergaul dgn orang!
Don’t be confused between personal gifts (birthdays, etc.) and wedding presents.
The clue is it has to be BIG. The bigger, the better. Especially when the host has kindly prepared a large table for you to place the pressies for all to see right in front of the tents/canopies/house. A good stroke for their egos huh!
My sis laughed at the pressie I bought- intended for the bride, a bottle of perfume. One of my friend said, just think of what I want for my own…but that exactly what I want!

you gave her perfume for wedding present? that's new.
but a gift is a gift. always appreciated kan?
Huh, it's not the done thing ke? Aiyah...I'm so busy with things so I just ordered from a catalogue..
BTW, last time I did bought typical gifts like a standing fan -the box was huge! & I was like too embarrass/awkward to carry it & had to ask a friend to carry it on my behalf - thus explained the 'miniature' gift!!
BTW, I can say that my friend was simply happy to see my face at her wedding...gift or sans gift - it's the thought that matter! But people will always talk lah...
Addendum - I did asked a friend to buy a bigger present (rice-cooker -doesn't matter lah berapa byk rice-cooker dia dpt nanti..)in time for the majlis! heheheh
