Coming from my 'nemesis', that was (still is) hurtful. I'll take that as a challenge - to be gone from here not a moment too soon..I'm counting the days!

I did my master in the same institution - attend his class some time long ago. Er, back in 2001/2002? Desperately hangin around till now..being busied with the extra-curricular activities did not help at all. He argued against it.
I'm a late bloomer. Even though everybody (who know me) can safely vouched for the fact that I eat fast, talk fast, walk fast, drive fast etc. there are only 2 things that I cannot help it but being real slow: finishing my study & get married. God is testing me - my patience in particular.

When you're a nobody, you learn to suck up to the big boss. After all, there is still a small possibility that he might ends up on my viva committee as bloody-internal examiner (He & I -we'd a long history together -Chewah! but the kind that comes to your mind ok). I talk to some friends (his junior colleagues actually) & we concurred that he simply cannot help being the way he is - such pomposity!
I remember another friend consoling words not that long ago, "Takpa no, biaqla dia kata apa pun (loghat utara). Arini dia durian, kita mentimun.."
Hakikatnya, suatu hari nanti durian bakal menjadi sambal tempoyak & dicicah2 oleh mentimun!
Well said, Rad. Sometimes, you cannot say anything because you are looking out for your future. In those cases, it is better to just believe in "what goes around, comes around." or like what your friend said. :)
