Gambus or Gitar

Note: Selamat pengantin baru to Naz & 'Abang Yusuf' - semoga berbahagia selalu, dirahmati Allah sentiasa & berkekalan sehingga ke akhirat.
______

It's your choice.

You see, today, I'm being reminded again by the aerobic instructor - you've to have a fitness diary. Jot down what you eat everyday, count the calories, weight on scale, exercise regimes blahblah.

It's actually a fun 'senamrobik beramai-ramai' & the usual instructor will take into account the diversity of attendees & make sure the exercises suit everyone - nowadays we have almost equal ratios of male to female, young to old, even toddlers.

Today's instructor (a fit & single 45-yo lady) was a 'real pain in the but' (I like her very much but let see after I wake up tomorrow morning) since she made us went through the whole routines: warm-up, stretch-up, hi-impact (3 steps), dancing (macam2 ada!), free-style, floor exercises (lunges, pumping etc.) and even 5min for poco2 (this is new)! She said (at the start) that it will takes only 45min (never do more than this) but after 1hour I already wish it was over & done with! She interspersed the routines with the lectures (imagine we all, orang tua2, kena torture about do not frequently eat nasi lemak, roti canai, teh tarik, Secret Recipe cakes etc. -you can 'cheat' only once in every 2weeks - die lor!) and book promotion - Lifetime Fitness (rm89.90 @MPH) by an 80-yo mat salleh who is fitter than a younger himself.
My neighbouring buddy said, with the amount of exercises that she did today, she's entitled to 3 pieces of roti canai for breakfast at least! (if not MC tomorrow)

The things that we do for want of a healthy-living....

BTW, my family kinda go for the apple shape instead of pear. So, gotta be careful with my bulging stomach.

And she also said, those who like to eat oily food - that eventually clogged the arteries - tend to be 'panas-baran' people. How true!

Hi Rad, so you into this aerobics stuff, huh? I read few months back in our papers here about KL having a class for belly dancing?
You not trying that out? Ha ha.
Fortunately my isteri has kept her 26 year old figure till today, plus minus a few pounds, still boleh masuk her old sarongs and cheong sums.
Me...now too lazy for all that, only do lots of walking. But my eyes get very good exercises as now warm weather and SYT's coming out in tight, stretch jeans and short halter tops.
Just had my eye test last week and doctor says ,"hmm, very good, hardly any change your eyes". Told him its the SYT's waiting at bus stops helping the eyes, ha ha.
You keep well, Rad.

jt,
I might complaint a bit but don't forget that nobody makes me do it. Honestly, I look forward to the weekly session such that I organise my other activities (like balik kampung) around it. I used to start every other day with early morning walk (last time used to jog but no more)but that was ok while I was staying on-campus & gotta used the stadium track. Nowadays I'm lucky enough to exercise properly once a week!
It wasn't the same when I do it alone, coz got no people watching heheheh.
Most of my friends are into yoga these days.
If you wonder why - bcoz I've a sedentary lifestyle - driving & working on the computers..
You might not need exercise if you already lead an active lifestyle - you know, all the tango, waltz & other dancing that you do with UL!
& after gym-hour, sure we're allow to indulge a bit of choc & sweets!

UL,
Cannot belly-dancing lah coz I can't even shake my butt properly. When it comes to the section of 60s cha-cha, rumba or whatever & even the Hindustani's boogies - I'll jz keep on marching! Perhaps this is due to the silat (red belt ok) & aikido that I've taken years ago - my muscles are keras already! And my hands have the veins all showing.
I do envy your wife & lucky you -"kept her 26 year old figure plus minus a few pounds" - I don't even have a figure! Kalo jeans we call it straight cuts!
You & your SYTs - heheheh..if my memory served me right, there'll be macho bronze guys shirtless in the summer months either doing the roof, mowings, gardening, biking or simply walking their dogs! For Mrs Lee to ogle of course....after all, you would want her 'sight' to be at par with yours right? Heheheheh

Sorry abt the (not)linking part - I purposely make it a bit harder for ppl to sorta find me. Never mind, I'll make easy on you next time 'k?

simah,
Apa la you - that thing is what constitutes a 'bunga telor' nowadays. Ye lah, aside form giving out eggs & sweets, for close friends - the bride usually prepared herself that 'thing' which come together with a little bag of pot-pourri at the back. Macam2 kan?

Eh you, kena jaga kesihatan - after you have hubby & kids to look after for. Imagine klu satu hari you terbaring, sape nak masak & buat keja tu sume? Or kalau ur hubby & kids sakit, siapa yg nak kena jadi nurse jugak? So, prevention is better than cure. Start looking after our body today kak oi so that we're not only wealthy but healthy & wise!
(Er, if you see my mak & most family members - you'll understand where I've got the motivation from).
BTW, I've check out your tag - easy peasy! I'll do it (bukan main konfiden lagik) but not today ok? I'll tinker with the ideas for awhile.

d,
Chubby roundy & sweet manggo pun ok apa? Imagine being squeeze by a 'warm person' versus a 'scarecrow'? Like babies yg montel?
The things is to keep healthy! By exercising. Eat well & in moderation. And remember to cook healthy dishes for your family heheheh.
